I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, rats. I also didn't really believe Earl was in danger. It's such a nice little show, who could cancel it?

I think they were gonna fake us out - Darnell is Earl Jr's father but there was something screwy with the toothbrushes getting mixed up or something.

I hope HIMYM has some explanation why if Ted hadn't run into Stella on the corner that time, he wouldn't have met the mother in this class he's teaching.

I was worrying about the poor nice neighbors with the immaculately designed terrace who have had this psycho guy standing on the ledge on the next building all the time for a year!

Yeah, I fully expected the episode to end with the neighbors calling the cops to get all these strangers off of their roof.

well, he wouldn't have run into Tony, who wouldn't have tried to get him a job building a murder room, who wouldn't have tried to make that up by getting him a teaching job.

Oh, right, thanks! I forgot that was coming through him.

OK, HIMYM, we're cool.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I was just reading that Earl might get picked up by another network.

Not javachik

On 30 Rock, who was the singer with white hair who made the comment about his beard? I'm certain I will face:palm as soon as I hear it, but I do not know and it's bugging me. Help!

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Sporting of him in light of Jenna's impersonation a few episodes back.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I heard some MM gossip the other night. Apparently he's got a rep as possibly the nicest person in all of music. A musician played with an opening act at a gig he was at out here. This musician (who is just a session guy, nobody anyone has ever heard of) has a sister, who has terminal cancer and is a huge fan. This guy contacted MM's management to get her house seats (which he assumed he's pay for) when MM was going to the East Coast.

Not only did they give him free seats, but MM called his sister personally to invite her to the show. He had her backstage and hung out with her for an hour. The guy who told me this, said there are a million stories like this about the guy, and none of them get any publicity. Musicians like playing with him, even if they don't like his actual music, because he's just such a stand-up guy.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's cool. He was a session guy himself for a long time before he joined the Doobies late in their career.
