I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, he's one of my That Guys that I always enjoy.

Portia was hilarious keeping Ted's daughter around so people wouldn't get emotional in her office. And teaching her to fire employees!

I am neutral on Slavin's character except when he's interacting with his lab buddy.

The woman who's hounding Ted to have an office affair with her can't go away soon enough to suit me, though.

Really? I don't need for her to get with Ted, but I love her stealing creamer and throwing stuff (that people won't be knowingly eating) at her monitor. "We're not supposed to do this. They even sent around a memo. It's what gave me the idea."

Matt, you scared me for a second, thought I'd missed Better Off Ted. Or that you were posting from the future.

More like from the past; I think I forgot to comment last week.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Parks and Rec, anyone? I liked it! At least partly because I like municipal government, and spent a formative evening in my youth sitting in a meeting with my father where curb cuts were discussed in detail....

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Dang! I forgot.

I think I'll like it because I'm the sort of person who reads the local government meeting minutes. 'Cause I'm all up in local business like that.

The Amy Pohler character is loopy, but she really cares about the town and her work, and I like that. I hope the show continues like that.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I did enjoy a couple of things about The Office last night. Michael, Pam, and Ryan trying to co-exist in a tiny office. Andy and Dwight competing over Erin.

But I'm not sure I like the show's overall direction. Putting Michael's office in the same building as Dunder Mifflin feels too much like a forced effort to keep the entire cast in the picture. Charles needs a better comic angle if he's going to stay around.

I'm not a huge fan of Amy Pohler's comedy, it's probably going to be a little too close to The Office for me.
