Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

But, then she wants me to take her home, because the train schedule will be sparse by then, and she doesn't want to get home too late,

Oh, vw, that's too much. I think sometimes parents forget that their adult children might have commitments they don't know about. Train service will be sparse, yes, but not non-existent. Could you ask her if she'd maybe like to go tomorrow?

Me, I have to go deny my students internet access, because they can't use it responsibly. Grr!

Don't feel bad. When I worked in the computer lab in LAW SCHOOL, we got complaints about people looking at porn in the library. WTF?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Birthday, d!

I just wrote another check to the plumber who came to unseat our downstairs toilet and pull yet another toy from its innards. This time, it was a small, squeaky alligator. *sigh*

Toilet locks are in place.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

One time Mom and Dad were doing some work in the downstairs bathroom and they had plywood blocking off the tub. I wanted to see what was going on back there so I sent my toy elephant in to check it out. He never came back.

I'm happy because there's a report I have to check every morning for clerical errors and after the first theatres got the new operating system they started appearing as out of balance every day. I was worried that we were going to start showing up on it when we got the new system but we've had it for a week and so far so good!

Okay, how do you know that Owen put that in there and it didn't crawl up from the sewer? hmm?
