You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Birthday, d!

I just wrote another check to the plumber who came to unseat our downstairs toilet and pull yet another toy from its innards. This time, it was a small, squeaky alligator. *sigh*

Toilet locks are in place.

One time Mom and Dad were doing some work in the downstairs bathroom and they had plywood blocking off the tub. I wanted to see what was going on back there so I sent my toy elephant in to check it out. He never came back.

I'm happy because there's a report I have to check every morning for clerical errors and after the first theatres got the new operating system they started appearing as out of balance every day. I was worried that we were going to start showing up on it when we got the new system but we've had it for a week and so far so good!

Okay, how do you know that Owen put that in there and it didn't crawl up from the sewer? hmm?

If you find a blue plastic elephant tell him I'm still waiting for his report.

Thrive to spite them

Today's is Boss's Day. Which we forgot.

Which means we have nothing, except something thrown together and no card.

Does anyone know where I can download a card and print it out?

OK that's just funny. My present is forgiving my boss for waking me up this morning to do work for her that she was supposed to get done yesterday.

I suppose I should give him the benefit of the doubt.

I've resented boss' day ever since I had to chip in for a gift for a rich boss who paid me $6 an hour with no paid time off or insurance. Screw that. He was also an asshole to me.

DH will probably take his employees out for lunch or something this week since it's his last week at this company.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I told my bosses happy boss day this morning. Then, they left.

I dind't find a card but we gave her her gift, she was surprised and it was a nice highlight.

We're taking her to lunch on Friday (that's when our intern will be here and we can all go out).

The office here does it up right for Adminstrative Professionals Day so I don't mind doing something for the boss.
