I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Dog is my co-pilot.

They're beautiful, vw bug!

I just took a couple of pics of the two quilts my grandmother made for the doll bed. Here's a link.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Very pretty quilts. I have some of vw's handiwork!

Laura, have you ever read the book Woodswoman by Anne LeBastille? It's her autobiography--about how she builds her own cabin in the Adirondacks and lives by herself, becoming a trail guide. I was reading it today and thought of you. If you'd like, when I'm done with it, I can send it to you.

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks Cashmere. I don't usually read non-fiction, but I that sounds interesting. There are quite a few people like that up here. It is where I was raised and now a nice place to visit. I'm far too lazy to ever live here in the winter.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

vw - the quilts are wonderful. I wish I had that talent.

Am home from the picnic. Am sunburnt. Didn't cornhole, but I watched. One of the gals was upset because they were cornholing wrong. She taught them the right way.

Tired. So darned tired.

Random weather update. Current temp in Otter Lake is 58, at home in Delray Beach it is 83. Yes, watching the meteors tomorrow night will be much more comfy here, and no city lights either. Woo!

eta: and check out my sluttitude!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Christopher just suggested taking the kids out to see the meteors tomorrow night. We're going to try it.

ION, I'm eating Tim Tams.

We took the boys last year and they were bored until the first fire streak. Then Wow! Last year the moon was bright so this year should be better.

A couple of years ago, we drove the truck out of town, threw a sleeping bag in the bed and snuggled up to watch them (it wasn't middle of summer, I think it was early autumn, but I don't remember.)

I wish us a cloudless night to enjoy the show.

I'm working and reading COMM where I am 1000 posts behind. This just had me in tears.
