Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Poor Kristin and I must have gotten the same little ickiness. But, I was in bed with the ickiness, which is still not fun. I seem to be all better this morning, thank goodness, but still. Ah, the weirdness of my body and occasional reactions to my medications.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Kristin and vw, I hope you both feel better quickly.

I thought I was feeling better, then I ate a cookie with the kids at snack time this morning, and, well, now I'm back home. Fortunately, I didn't lose said cookie until I got home.

But! I had plans! Oh, well. My homework needs doing. So, I'm drinking tea and thinking about how to best attack this mess.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Belated Birthday, Cashmere!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Omnis I'd like to apologize for the way I treated you in my dream this morning. I know you were only trying to help me get to work on time and it's not your fault Lord Voldemort started chasing me.

Is it still a serial post if I'm at a completely different computer?

OK so you know how if something swells it becomes swollen? Is it acceptable to say as it swoll it became swollen? The rebar in the bridge swoll? I heard this on NPR today.

One more and then I'm putting my nose to the grindstone.

Here's a secret for the people who don't go to PostSecret any more because it's too depressing.

Trust my rage

so, I try to keep my paranoid off the board, but

Ellie woke up this morning with a fever and has vomitted twice. She also has seemed sort of lethargic and has been sleeping a lot. Her fever was 101.6 an hour ago although now it's 100.8. I wouldn't normally worry at this stage, but there's a dengue outbreak here.

Of course, joe left for the States today.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I would say "swelled". It doesn't sound right now that I am listening to myself say it, but it's what I'd say.
