Uh, are we gonna fight, or is there just gonna be a monster sarcasm rally?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

brillig

Very strong visual, pretty even auditory/kinesthetic. I can see how words fall under visual when the word input is through the eyes as opposed to the ears. I read by absorbing blocks of words, not seeing each word as an individual unit with a sound. Reading a passage can have a different effect on me just by changing the font. The image of the word contains at least as much information for me as the sound.

I can read with a fair degree of general comprehension in nearly every European language. I cannot understand the spoken language unless I can understand it well enough to picture the words. This is all because I can see the inter-related words from the Romance languages and deduce the meanings.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Isn't that what Google is for? Or something? Annotated Bibliographies are a lot of work.

heh. Since you are you vw I know you know how to do research, and how to analyze secondary sources. But this amused me because I give my students an annotated bibliography assignment before the research paper, and I do it for one reason: the average grade on the research paper rose from a C+ to a B/B- once I started requiring it.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I was 5 for Visual and Auditory each, and 8 for Kinesthetic.

Our wings are not tired

I just talked the Porsche people out of a cool idea that would have turned out really badly had we tried to do it this year.

All is well that ends in pizza.

"Oh no, not again!"

Close.

They wanted to feel the wind of the cars rushing by accompanying the sound and video that I'm going to be doing for them.

While this is something that CAN be pulled off, it is not something you start thinking about less than one month before the event.

less than one month before the event.

^^^^^^Harvey code^^^^^^^

I have have Friday off. So far I have done the following:

- Repaired the gas tank on our new used Caprice. I used a brass brush and a lot of carb cleaner on the hole. ThenJb Weld "Waterweld" for wet surfaces on the crack. we will see.

- Called my insurance agent and let them know that the 1990 caprice should be covered, the 1995 Lumina will be donated away, and that the 1989 caprice will be mothballed, and likely sold, so please to arrange my coverage.

- Called guy who sold me the 1990 Caprice and semi-arranged to meet up with him to retrieve the remaining wheel cover for the vehicle. Maybe I can guilt him into giving back some of the cash we paid.

- Snuggled and skritched Harveycat.

- Wrote out a check and mailed it to my buddy who sold me the white van in 2005 to go get Andi. I sent the van to the junk yard two weeks ago.

- Made appointments for the next two fridays for bloodwork and doctor's visit.

- Amused myself upon finding that the loudness of the new Caprice wasn't due to a hole in the muffler, it was due to total lack of muffler. And tailpipe.

- Gathered up brush, filled a kettle grill with it and burned it all up.

- Picked up debris in garden.

Plans yet to be accomplished:

- Laundry

- Nappage

- Go to Aldi

- Repair ignition lock on 1990 Caprice.

- Do dishes

You see, the joy for me is that I'm at the far end of this. If PR cooks it up then it eventually comes to me and as an outside vendor there is always a way to do it, it's just a matter of how much I charge for the idiot tax.
