[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Three's A Company

Randomly, I noticed the other day that there's a bar in downtown Chicago called the Reagle Beagle. (And yes, that's how they spell it.)

Where are we supposed to be talking about Adult Swim again?

Because last night was the first new Boondocks in almost two years. And it was better than ever.

It's sad that McGruder felt he had to give up the daily strip, but apparently he did it so he could focus on the show, and I'm glad he did. I loved the first season (the bits I've seen), and if the first ep of the second season is any indication, picking the show over the strip was the right choice.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I was so tired that I had to go to bed (perhaps understandably), so I only watched until they got in the theater and Jasmine was freaking out and then Granddad had to go buy popcorn.

I vote Procedurals. Just 'cause.

I'm down to just Frisky Dingo on that lineup, but OMG it is made entirely of awesome.

Perhaps because I work in and around that industry, those "Stealing Movies is a Felony" ads were cracking me up hard.

Haven't seen any of this yet, but it seems funny. I also want to check out Lucy, Daughter of the Devil, 'cuz cool name.

But I have little interest in the live action shows, especially the Tim and Eric Awesome Show. And I will continue to watch two episodes of Futurama, even though I've seen them all a brazillion times, as long as they keep showing them.

This is me with Family Guy.

Oh, I didn't know they were making new Boondocks. Cool.

I'm the same WRT Futurama, but I've only just gotten in to Family Guy for some reason.

If you can, I'd recommend catching up on the 1st season before jumping into the current run. (Which should take all of an afternoon, since the eps are so short.) The continuity is Arrested Development-esque in its attention to detail.
