I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Oh dear, Cashmere. Hope that gets settled for you pretty quickly so sleep can return.

I am a doofus and misread the photo scavenger rules for the deadline. And then I posted, but not where everyone else did. I'm not an lj user, so I'm inept with it, but some of my photos were fun. Anybody here want to see? [link]

O Cash. I hear ya. Insomnia keeps me up late too. I've learned if I go to bed before brain gets pretty numbed, I end up staying awake tossing n turning even longer, so might as well watch the idiotbox and cruise the web, etc. One thing that really has helped me is my iPod. I've made a nighty night playlist with songs about night, sleep, and such. All tend to be on the mellow side. And the 2nd half of songs are all instrumental. Vast majority of the time, I'm asleep before the instrumental pieces kick in. It really has helped me. YRMV, of course. But possibly something worth trying. By this point, I'm sure there is a bit of Pavlovian response to the tunes and the order. Dunno. It works. Not gonna complain about it.

Good luck! Don't fret! Things will work out. Your smart!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Kids were up at 6:30. I'm going to have to figure this sleep thing out pronto, else I won't be able to function. Hopefully, we'll know more today. We're supposed to talk to the relocation team and they can answer a lot of questions. I'm also hoping that we can talk to a realtor by midweek to see what we need to do.

Now I have to figure out breakfast for them and get coffee made for me.

Thrive to spite them

Morning Bitches! Or Timelies.

Cash, sorry to hear about the insomnia.

My morning has sucked. I woke up late and then got pulled over for speeding. In a school zone, I didn't realize I'd gotten to the school zone yet when the guy walked out with the radar gun. He didn't fine me for being in a school zone, but I also didn't have my seat belt on.

So that's about $200+ in fines I don't have.

t hugs Cash and askye

I am so tired that I just want to curl up and cry. Four hours of sleep is not enough. It's my own fault; I worked until midnight and then couldn't stop my brain until after 1. Somehow that isn't comforting me in the least.

But on a happier note...

Happy Birthday, Omnis!

Oh, askye. That's a shitty start to the week.

But you should totally wear your seatbelt.

After a few sips of coffee, I could feel a headache start, so I dumped hte cup. I hope it was in time to avoid a full blown incident.

We've got speech therapy today and at least three people coming to pick up freecycle items.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

My sleep is so fucked. Insomnia stalks me every night because I keep thinking of house issues.

This was me last night. Let's you and I make a pact that when we can't sleep, we call each other and talk each other to sleep? We'll talk about kids and spouses and house issues and money problems and maybe, eventually, fall asleep to the dulcet tones of each other.

Em continues her tiny-ness. My friend's husband picked her up the other day and looked at me and said, "She weighs what? 10 lbs?" She doesn't - she weighs probably 25 lbs, maybe 30, but still. She's so skinny. She wears some 3T's - if they run small. Otherwise, the legs fit, but the waist is too big. She'll be 3 at the end of November.

Happy Birthday Omnis Audis!

Aimee, that's a deal. Only your voice is nicer than mine.

Em is an adorable string bean of a kid.
