Well, there you go!
You know that they make Post-It White boards? And special "meeting post-its" that are giant?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, I know! I've used them in classes. They are AWESOME!
In totally unrelated news, I came home and went to see Toto. He was on my bed, which is unusual (he's usually curled up in his bed). I opened the door, and I went over to give him a tummy rub. He lept off the bed and into my arms and started kissing my face. It was about the sweetest thing ever. It was almost like he knew I had a long weekend, and we were actually gonna hang out a bit.
No one tell him I'm planning on going out tonight.
I'm the same way in an office supply store, fwiw.
Ok - that was a funny crosspost. I'm now imagining Susan running into Office Depot and licking the face of the printer cartridge guy,
I love those post-it white boards but the $5 per sheet tempers that love slightly.
But that's the thing. Everyone pays a lot to go here, and this is a first. We've never been asked to do this before. I honestly think that this is an admin's idea of an "efficient" solution.
It is efficient. It is much more efficient to piss off your employees than your customers. You better hope EVERYONE doesn't start asking for it...
(It sounds like a fairly isolated incident, actually, what with the schedule change and all.)
I doubt you'd get a public school to move a dozen or so exams. ch-ching
Ok...one more little thing, then I might shut up for a bit.
I need to start keeping a list of the really priceless things my tutees say. Today's gem went something like this:
Tutee (T): So, how long have you been tutoring?
vw: Since the beginning of the semester.
T: Really? But, you seem like you know what you're doing!

Hee! Does the printer cartridge guy look like Sean Bean or Nathan Fillion? 'Cuz then I might.
Gee Trudy, have a chip on your shoulder about private schools?
I went to mostly private schools, and have taught at more than a few, and to be honest on items like this they typically don't make these kinds of changes.
