Happy Anniversary Nora & Tom!
Sean, lots of ~ma for your mom.
vw, it looks fine, but since I've seen you write a number of times that you've had no-show students, I really think you need a plan for dealing with them, too.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I mostly just wanted to make sure it's clear. I'm not worried about it being formal. We have a very good working relationship.

Oh, yeah. I didn't mention that, but I'm going to let them know about the "three strikes you're out policy" that the university has. If they skip three times, they don't get tutoring from academic support for *any* subject. I didn't mention that in the e-mail, because I know she'll be supportive of that. Actually, if she finds out how many people have skipped, she's gonna be on their asses. So, I'd rather just deal with that myself.
Suzi - yes start looking even if you don't know. apply for thing both above and below. consider this time to explore. The worst that happens is you figure something out.
looks like a plan to me , vw. -- but I might not count the no shows as those that get to schedule by email.
ION, I have had a low level headache since Wednesday night.Make it go away.
happy anniversary to Nora and Tom
Happy Anniversary, Nora and Tom!
she's gonna be on their asses
As someone who teaches students at a graduate level, when some of them still haven't learned how to keep an appointment (or how to cancel one, for that matter), I can't make myself believe this is a bad thing.
Well, yes and no. She threatened to count it as one of their class absences if they miss a tutoring appointment. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that, so I'd rather confront the issue on my terms. Hopefully that makes sense.
CASH! You're gonna have to be a Packers fan now! Whoot!
Janesville was always a stop on the way home - my only memory of that place is huge truck stops.
I remember Janesville as having that creepy house with the dressmaker's dummy in the window.
