It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So much room!

You have the same California perspective as we do -- it looks like a lot of room and it looks cheap to us. However, for around here, it's a little house with a pretty good yard.

I don't. Know. What I'm doing. And I hate that.

Okay, I just had this weird moment where I thought I'd spelled "hate" wrong. What is that? Can one have momentary dyslexia?

I'm sorry, Emily. Things shouldn't be this hard.

California perspective

You're not kidding. GF and I have been perusing the market and talking about $500,000-$600,000 being reasonable for a smallish 2-3 bedroom house. Insanity I tell you!

It was okay with the first one I did because I've been paying more attention to that software program. But I just got to the architectural one, and it confuses the hell out of me. Next up is the animation program, which... argh.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Andi, it's not dangerous to eat it. But the taste might be odd.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Either way, I am still ticked that after all the effort we put into getting the deep-freeze set up to be organized, so that everything in it would be easy to find and use, we still managed to shove so much stuff in it that for at least 6 months or so, I haven't bothered to dig deeper than a couple inches for food. So probably 8 of the 10 cubic feet of food in there is going to be badly freezer-burnt.

I hate that it feels so bloody useless to even try to put things in order. Every damn time I turn around, there are bigger and bigger piles of junk.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Don't give up hope yet, Andi -- the big culprit in freezer burn is fluctuating temps, so the stuff that's buried deep in the freezer may be much better off than the stuff you're seeing near the top.
