It was okay with the first one I did because I've been paying more attention to that software program. But I just got to the architectural one, and it confuses the hell out of me. Next up is the animation program, which... argh.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Andi, it's not dangerous to eat it. But the taste might be odd.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Either way, I am still ticked that after all the effort we put into getting the deep-freeze set up to be organized, so that everything in it would be easy to find and use, we still managed to shove so much stuff in it that for at least 6 months or so, I haven't bothered to dig deeper than a couple inches for food. So probably 8 of the 10 cubic feet of food in there is going to be badly freezer-burnt.

I hate that it feels so bloody useless to even try to put things in order. Every damn time I turn around, there are bigger and bigger piles of junk.

Mostly lurking...

Hang in there, you.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Don't give up hope yet, Andi -- the big culprit in freezer burn is fluctuating temps, so the stuff that's buried deep in the freezer may be much better off than the stuff you're seeing near the top.

Emily, I strongly advise turning auto formatting off. It'll make your Word experience a million times better. What version are you using?

Format > Auto Format > Options, and clear everything on the Auto Format and Auto Format as you type tabs.

And avoid Word Pad. It's screwy.

If you wrapped it well, it ought to be fine.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I'm going to one of the boys' lock down units at juvenile hall this morning for booktalking. I'm a bit nervous.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Gloom, is this the first time with the boys? Anyone going with you who's done it before?

Yes, it's my first time with the boys, and yes, someone is going with me who's done it before. I have an irrational fear of the juvie boys that never existed for me with the girls, even though most of the people who go fear the girls more. Not sure why that is. I love my girls!

ETA: And with that, I'm off!
