Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I haven't taken reiki, but when I was working at the church, the spirituality group that was housed under the same roof offered it; it was pretty popular and I was intrigued. But since it was at work, and I wanted to leave the building when I was done with work, I never ended up taking classes.

MUCH, MUCH ~ma to Suzi's mom and to Suzi!

Am intrigued by Sparky's bid!

Also, ~ma for Cashmere's DH

ION, we now have a Wii and it is good. I am happy to report that is really all the excitement in the McWarnigle household at the moment. (knocks wood)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Move ~ma!

House ~ma!

Transplant ~ma!!!!!!

Fay, I think that energy work such as reiki *does* have real effects; like most non-Western therapies, it doesn't seem to have *dramatic* effects, so it tends to get derided.

I subscribe to the theory that Western therapies are great for trauma or disease and Eastern therapies are stronger with chronic systemic weirdness. Strange rashes, tension, pain, insomnia... time for the woo woo.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hope the inspection goes well - love the front porch and the floors are gorgeous.

Because books.

I can't keep up!

All kinds of ~ma for your mom, Suzi, and for you. ::hugs Suzi hard::

All kinds of ~ma for your dad, tiggy. Man, that sucks. Third time's a charm?

Sparky! Awesome house! That room in the basement is for me, yes? ::pleading puppy eyes::

It's really adorable. I love the porch!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

It's absolutely gorgeous, Sparky. I'll be sending all the inspectionma I can muster.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Much ~ma of appropriate kinds to meara, Sparky, Cash's DH, tiggy's dad, Suzi's mom, and anyone else I have inadvertantly left out.

Fay, I am also interested Reiki. Someone taught me a Reiki meditation/visualization that I have used on myself and found it a good meditation. I have never had the opportunity to take a course, but I would surely snap up the chance if it fell into my lap the way this has for you.

Question for the Hivemind: Is freezer burn actually dangerous, ie a source of food-poisoning-causing bacterial growth, or is the advice to throw out freezer-burnt stuff due to how unappetizing it is?

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Trivial, schmivial... I HATE MSWORD AND ITS STUPID AUTOFORMATTING STUPIDITY!

Okay, so question 1. Good. Question 2... wait, what happened? Put that margin back over there. Okay, fine, I guess the tab there is okay. Right. Enter... no, I'm not ready for Question 3 yet. Go away. Thank you. Wait, leave the margin alone. Enter. Yes, okay, question 3 time, thank you, Word. No. No, I don't want the margin there. Put it back. Wait, you're changing the tab again?

Also, you already make the margins an extra-generous 1.25 inches. Why would you then also insist that numbered lists be indented an EXTRA quarter inch?
