Mr. Jane would like y'all to know that getting a tattoo over your tattoo (touchup work) hurts like a motherfucker.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, bummer, I need to do that. I'll pretend it is not true until I experience it for myself.
I think I'm going to have to say I've had 2 UTIs that were worse pain than labor, or breaking my leg by twisting my foot around backwards and then walking on it for two days, or having 2nd degree burns in my crotch. I fear the UTI.
I have a friend who was in the embassy in Kenya when al-Qaeda blew it up, and his face melted. He's alive, and with skin grafts he has a face, but I can't even imagine what that was like.
I think that hurt worse than the migraines do, but it was easier to bear.
because it didn't sneak up on you to give you a brain wedgie, but do it so that you could see it coming? Migraines = evil.
I'm allergic to codeine. Says so on my chart. The one that the drug gods didn't read after Iris was delivered. Granted, the guy who did the epidural was awesome - and an accupuncturist on the side (REALLY good combo) - so the pain didn't really take over until just before they could switch me out to a really interesting and pleasant Demerol/Advil combo. The nurse who told me I had to get up and walk the next morning after surgery - she would have liked Ita's shocky-sticks.
Jilli - can you slip a zero-divide into something, just as, I don't know - proof of concept? Then they'll need more people...
My worst pain was probably when I had an impacted fracture of my shoulder, but I really am a wimp when it comes to pain. I'm usually achy on a regular basis, and I am a baby about any pain on top of that.
ps - absolutely, selfish. What the world needs is an ita army. do they get pointy sticks?

I think my touchup hurt less than the original (I basically had it coloured in and fleshed out), but that might have been because I knew what to expect. Mostly I was irritable that he brushed my breast a couple times.

Dude, I'd be there for you, chasing her down the hallways waving the knife crackling with current.
ok - one last post and then I'll quiet down... What's on TV tonight?
eta - ita, where were you when I needed you? All I could muster was a lame youmustbekidding.

I kinda think Mr. Jane is a wimp about tattoos, and well, any pain really.

THE OFFICE !! And My Name Is Earl.
Huh. I just LJ-defriended my best friend from college. I think I feel pretty good about this. She had never actually friended me anyway, and when I saw her this weekend, it was way awkward, since it was the first time I'd seen her since I moved here. And I have been here over a fucking year. Plans to meet up never gelled. Seeing her posts on my flist always just kind of annoyed me. It's sad, really. She was my first best friend, and my first kiss. But she's clearly checked out of our friendship since we graduated, and it's about time I really really accepted that.
I don't know how it works, really. Some people, you won't talk to for years, and when you finally do, it's just like old times and you like each other and enjoy the conversation and everything. Other people slowly drift away without letting you know they don't so much care about you anymore.
