Assuming that Alicia Silverstone would still be considered sexy -- I haven't seen any pictures of her at all lately, so I wouldn't know.
I think the deal is that she had gained "a lot" of weight and was considered not-sexy for a few years. So now her sexiness was rehabbed through the power of vegetarianism.

If I had twins right now, I'd name them Tegan Isabel and Julian Charles.

I'm hoping you don't mean identical twins.
ETA: oops
Heeey, GC, by the way, I got
The Con
a few weeks ago. My favorite songs are "The Con," "Hop a Plane" (probably my most-listened-to off the album), "Back in Your Head," "Burn Your Life Down," and I think "Like O, Like H." I haven't totally gotten into it, but I like some songs.
She doesn't dig most of the cruciferous veggies
This is me. I just googled the phrase and now I know the Devil's true name. A few of the leafier items on the list are OK (arugula, watercress, bok choy), but most of those are the NAST!! I've always called them the sweaty vegetables.
Ok. The professor I am working with this semester (I'm the tutor for her students) apparently paid me a huge compliment to the professor of my tutoring seminar. YAY! I wish I knew what the compliment was, but my prof said she'd tell me later. She was off to a meeting.
The shot in the ad is very similiar to the scene in Fast Times from Ridgemont High where Pheobe Cates gets out of the pool? It's pretty much that excetp from behind and you can see Alicia's naked ass. And then Alicia lies on the edge of the pool.
All very very sexy and some of the people on the forum even said they didnt' think anyone would really pay attention to what Alicia was saying, just look at her body. I think I'm a little frustrated because I have the feeling that if the ad were for milk some of these people would be criticizing it for selling sex but since it's for PETA it's okay.
Am I over reacting? I see it and all I see is seduction and sex, I can't really see how it's just about showing what a healthy vegetarian can look like.
It made a certain amount of sense when they were doing the anti-fur campaigns, but for this? I don't think you're wrong.
I am basically a fan of all vegetables, provided they are prepared in a delicious manner (this does not even necessarily require bacon or sauce, just not overcooked or whatever).
I do not like radishes, though, they are too bitter and I haven't figured out a way to mellow 'em out. I guess I could try cooking them but I've always thought of radishes as a raw/salad vegetable and haven't wrapped my brain around adding heat to the equation. Next season maybe?
I am somewhat cautious about the brussell sprouts, because I've had them pretty bitter but I can sense there is potential there. Now it's about that time of year again, I'll give 'em another go.
