Tea:

Buffistas should feel kind of honored because most of our family doesn't even know yet. My mom knows of course, because of the diamond, but we are telling TCG's family in person when we see them. We're having dinner with his mother and stepfather on Friday and his father and stepmother on Tuesday, and we'll tell his brother when we see them on our visit to Charlotte. t /engagement likes carrots

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

And, indeed, engagement likes carats.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Congrats, SJ!

I suddenly want to Nilly the Day of Teacup Nomenclature.

I really am going to try to sleep now, but if someone would do this for me this week it would be the best engagement present ever. I really should have it marked somewhere, but I think it was on the old computer.

Vortex will you marry me?

heh. my brussel sprouts are awesome. Why? BACON. I usually add a little salt, but I wonder how they'd taste with bacon salt. I must try this.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Suddenly I am filled with remorse that we're doing the catering thing for Thanksgiving this year. I'll have to try your recipe for a less momentous occasion Vortex. And feed them to my brother- he's the other texas cabbage lover in my family.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Happy Engagement, sj!

It starts there, with the teacup details and continues for a bit, sporadically.

Then you move and he helps, aww, and Teacup Guy becomes common parlance.

He becomes aware that he is named as such, and is generally bemused by us, I think.
