Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

I can't really imagine what else it could be.

Oh, poor guy. I agree with this assessment, and just, poor guy.

Ginger, I like that writing teacher. Maybe I'll put it in after all.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Checked in with Em's daycare.

She's napping and everything has been going ok so far. Em wouldn't eat the raw broccoli because it was "really, really broken". She's being pretty quiet, which is typical for her in a new situation, but isn't being crabby or cranky, thus far.

Post-nap will be the ultimate test.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If it's not having a qualitative negative effect on his life, it may be nothing more than annoying, in principle.

Does it count as OCD if it doesn't have a negative effect?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Raq, I'd agree -- OCD. Except that he may be taking the dog to a doggy day care.

I would think yes. I don't for sure, though.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Em wouldn't eat the raw broccoli because it was "really, really broken".

Adoreable. Also? Reminds me of River a bit.

ita, he's annoying the neighbors. Which may not necessarily be negative, but it certainly isn't a positive.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

It could still be negative in that it takes time and he probably feels compulsed to go through these repetitive steps. That is not easy on the mind.

Plus, there is wasted gas and pollution and all that.

he's annoying the neighbors.

Raq didn't mention that, did she?

This (from the quick ref to the dsm IV) is what I was thinking of:

Moreover, the obsessions or compulsions must be time-consuming (taking up more than one hour per day), cause distress, or cause impairment in social, occupational, or school functioning.

Otherwise it's not OCD.

The status is NOT quo.

Glad Em's daycare is going well so far, Aimee. Did MM tell you about the five gallons of water he dumped on himself this weekend? Heh. I shouldn't laugh, but it's so something I would do.

Also, is today a particularly Mondayish Monday for anyone else?
