Tara: That was funny if you've studied Taglarin mystic rites and... are a total dork... Riley: Then how come Xander didn't laugh?

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Why is it that the sound of leather on leather is more likely to send me to a twenty-year-old making out with leather jacketed boyfriend place than a ten-year-old horseback riding place? I heard that sound for eight years before I even discovered boys.

edit: this musing brought to you by two shots of Jim Beam and the sound of leather on leather.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've only had homicidal feelings about Rex Grossman once so far.

I just caught the post-game wrapup on the radio on the way back from ChiKat's tonight, and have had homicidal feelings about Grossman pretty much nonstop since then.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It's MONDAY.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Can we rewind and have it be Sunday morning again?

I'm with that, Anne. I was so crazy all weekend that I don't feel like I *had* a weekend!

Now tagless for your comfort.

We need a TARDIS.

Indeed. If mine could come pre-stocked w/ a 10th Doctor and/or Capt. Jack, so much the better.

not your mom's socks.

Can we rewind and have it be Sunday morning again?

that would be so nice. blarg.

ooops for the mash-up omnis! And thank you for the brainpic of a bunch of people with bee-hive hairdos-of-stupid. I was thinking of dumb spray only as a repellent (like bug spray) - wowee, it has so many potential uses.

the [nonprofit] just forked out some bucks to the company that has supplied their community data systems for 14 years for a little tiny piece of code that spits out xml for me. should have taken a week to roll out - it took four months. It could have been written in any script - it's in .net. And it looks like half of the data that should be accessible isn't. Their user guide (which they were working on until COB Friday) is so full of typos I can't tell which table I'm pulling from about a third of the time. I have to spend a bunch of time this morning sorting through the documentation to see what is missing that will be a huge pain later. And we paid for this. Problem is that data-company and data-company's evil sibling have a lock on this corner of the market. So they don't have to do things right. And they specialize in selling vapor. (And, possibly, dumb spray.)
