Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

It's so much nicer following the Bears game on Yahoo sports. I've only had homicidal feelings about Rex Grossman once so far.

The status is NOT quo.

The odd thing is that I'd turned the alarm off first. All I can guess is that the car has some kind of temporary kill switch or something.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I had something very similar happen to my Tercel a few years ago, Kristin. A previous owner had installed an alarm that we didn't know about and therefore never turned on, but when it got too old it randomly set itself and went off. That's apparently just something after market alarms do, eventually. Mine didn't make noise, it just kept the engine from starting, so alarm wasn't the first thing to spring to mind, but a mechanic figured it out immediately. He was able to disconnect the alarm in about 5 minutes, I don't remember if he even charged us, though we did have to get it towed to the garage.

I found my car alarm when I slammed on the brakes one day and it fell on my foot. It didn't seem to be attached to anything.

This is an original Prius "anti-theft deterrent," it seems. I've been doing some online poking around, and it looks like I may need to get my Toyota dealership to take a look at the battery. Fun! I just really don't want to incur the wrath of my administration if th car starts going off during school. Our school operates in a historical landmark, and we operate under a Conditional Use Permit. In other words, our neighbors already don't like us. Random car alarms are not going to help. Meep.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My car used to set off its alarm for no damn reason at all. Still does, sometimes. Oddly, it stopped doing that (much) about the time I promised I wasn't going to sell it. My car is neurotic.

Why is it that the sound of leather on leather is more likely to send me to a twenty-year-old making out with leather jacketed boyfriend place than a ten-year-old horseback riding place? I heard that sound for eight years before I even discovered boys.

edit: this musing brought to you by two shots of Jim Beam and the sound of leather on leather.

I just caught the post-game wrapup on the radio on the way back from ChiKat's tonight, and have had homicidal feelings about Grossman pretty much nonstop since then.
