Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

Lots of continued ~ma for GF's dad, GC, and all of you.

Thanks, everyone! We're very excited - my DH is in charge of the inspection and mortgage getting, and I am in charge of the new bathroom we're going to put in.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

OMG, those are cool! Want!

I'm not sure who got the short end of the stick here- but excellent division of labor, as those are sure to be 2 equally trying tasks (but of course, worth it!!)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It's a very cute house, Sparky. I love the room with all the woodwork. I like real wood paneling. I like it so much that when watching HGTV, I spend a lot of time yelling, "No, no. Don't paint the knotty pine paneling!" I also spend a lot of time yelling at people who buy houses with lovely built-in bookcases and they don't want them, because they have no books. Then there's the decorators' who artfully arrange shelves, halving the amount of book space.

I will mention the virtues of a mulching lawnmower with a bag, because you can use it to get rid of leaves. I hate raking. It hurts my back and it never ends. Using the lawnmower means you end up with a bag of shredded leaves, ready for the compost pile. You probably already know this, but I mention it because it took me way too long to figure out that I could just mow the leaves and when I finally did, I felt really stupid.

edited because having is not halving.

I love the room with all the woodwork.

Soon to be known as "our bedroom." It's hard to believe that no one ever painted that woodwork since it's original.

I am writing down all the lawnmower suggestions.
