Wash: I didn't think you were one for rituals and such. Mal: I'm not, but it'll keep the others busy for a while. No reason to concern them with what's to be done.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ok, so I'm reading the ingredients on some veterinary prescription diets for kidney care... and I'm wondering just what in hell good does corn starch and corn meal do for the kidneys of obligate carnivores?

Cuz without a real good reason, I'd rather make her food my own damn self than feed Sammie _corn_. If for no other reason than it does a real number on Harvey's sensitive stomach.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

It's funny how distractions happen. Your finally resolved to make that database. You are in layout mode. You accidently right+click the "cable gender" area, and the mouse quickly highlights "Male" and "search Google". Bam. That browser app you quit so you could do work opens, and viola, look what is there. A YouTube called Male Restroom Etiquette.

Well, it sounds funny, you just have to watch it. 10 minutes later, your laughing at the ridiculousness (yet truth) of the CG cartoon, and think... golly, I should share this, and waste even more time.

OK, back to work, I promise.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Woohoo! Thanks Lee!

Do you still have my cell number? It hasn't changed since I moved up here. Friday dinner might be harder for me to swing, because I don't get off work until 6:00, but I should be able to work it out, and I could do whatever needed for brunch.

Lee, I wanted you to know how much I have enjoyed the photos from the scavenger hunt. If I were home I would have played along, but a little too far away from anything to get much on the list. So I lurked this time.

Thanks Laura! I think the winners are going to run another one at the end of the month or so.

re-linky?

Did you mean the scavenger hunt, Laga? That's here [link]

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday to Katherina B and Ms. Havisham!

Congratulations Emily!

And whoo hoo! I have a working kitchen sink!

Apparently, my googled information was not quite correct. Earlier in the week I went through an entire 16 oz box of baking soda, much vinegar and several kettlefuls of water only to have no effect on the slowness of my drain.

Last night I did one last attempt - on the other side. (It's a double sink.) Nope.

So, I was going to call it in but naturally I forgot.

Then I was talking to a friend who watches that British show "How Clean is Your House" and on that show they always pour in the boiling water immediately after they do the vinegar and then they plunge.

So, that's what I did. I'm not even sure I needed to plunge because the hot water drained IMMEDIATELY.

And I had been doing v. labor intensive, inefficient dishwashing: i.e., wash a dish, rinse a dish, dry a dish, put a dish away and turn the water off between each step. Despite that my sink filled almost all the way up and I had to wait about 30 minutes 'til it cleared to try the baking soda, vinegar, boiling water trick.

I'm so happy.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Rabid tasmanian devils are more rational than a toddler.

We don't have rabies in our Tassie devils. Just contagious facial cancers.

My friend's girl twin, who is 17 months tomorrow, just started eating people

That was a great place to break the sentence. Gerber's soylent green!

I think we should say, "The penguin on top of your telly is about to explode!"

Am I the only person here who needs to think, "Which one?"

I hope the echidna survives unscathed.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Windsparrow, I'm in agreement with you re: cat food. Cats shouldn't be eating carbohydrates. They're only in there because they're cheap filler for pet food companies.
