The sellers of the house we made an offer on have countered at 10K more than we'll pay, just as we expected. For some reason they wanted us to know that they would be losing money on this counter-offer. If they knew me, they'd know that wouldn't penetrate my little black heart.
We're countering with 5K more than we originally offered, and if they don't take that, we're back to looking!

1. Not losing nearly as much money as you'll lose if you keep clinging to your ridiculous asking price and never sell it at all.
