Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Buffy ,'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Art Crawl!!!

I don't understand - if you have fresh batteries - don't you just press the cable or the vcr button to switch back and forth?

Our wings are not tired

I do find it funny that, given my general lack of patience with kids, I keep ending up working for Nickelodeon.

Compassionately intolerant

What they said. Only insert something fresh and witty, which boils down to What They Said.

Something like "This is a wee-beasty-free event" or "Grown up trouble makers are welcome...babysitter referrals on request"

Warping young minds since long before 2000.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I do find it funny that, given my general lack of patience with kids, I keep ending up working for Nickelodeon.

It is quite funny, I must admit.

I said, "Not this time, but we'll have lots of parties with stuff later. Like Em's birthday party in November." and then I asked if we could go trick or treating with them.

I'm sure she's fine with it - she has adults only parties herself - but I freak out because I still feel sort of "new" with this group of friends. Which means that my inner-Martha Stewart will be OUTER in a HUGE way right before the party. Very few of our Michigan friends have ever seen how we lived or what our homes look like and of course, I have to put on the dog. I am such. a. freak.

Trust my rage

...I feel left out because I do not have a Joe or a cute toddler to pine for him.

We are a very exclusive club!

not your mom's socks.

I wonder if it has something to do with having been the 3rd child and used to my parents' having to divide their attention amongst us.

I think could have more to do with showing any sign of humanity around Kritters. yeesh.

Happy birthday Erika!

d- when's the race? Do we get to be cheering you on?

aimee - go you! you did the right thing.
