Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

Thanks for the hugs and love guys!

I just keep having these dreams and it's wearing on me. Especially since I can't figure out what's going on with my alarm clock and keep over sleeping.

I have a washer and dryer and no dishwasher, which is totally doable. As much as I want a dishwasher I would never trade the w/d for one.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I've been schlepping my clothes to the laundromat for three years now. Does that mean I'm owed a bunch of nookie or something?

Christ, I'm in a horrible mood. There's just... too much.

If 'twas possible, I'd give you a hug Nora. And a beer. And they'd never be more deserved.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

askye, oversleeping causes me to have bad dreams. Also when I wake up and go back so sleep, those are truly awful dreams. Hope your alarm clock magically fixes itself for you!

OMG, totally! And so vivid.

Thanks for the hugs and sympathy. It'll be OK. I just need to get over the jetlag so I can be better at doing stuff.

On a slightly related note, when we went to see my MIL in St. Andrews, we met a friend of hers who has totally gone above and beyond the call of duty to help MIL out. I want to send her something but am not sure what. Something nice (I was thinking flowers, but now I'm thinking something more Harry & David style) and able to be shipped to Scotland. Probably about $50-75. Any thoughts? We come across some barriers with ordering things from UK sites to be delivered there, with a US credit card address. So that's always a challenge.
