askye, oversleeping causes me to have bad dreams. Also when I wake up and go back so sleep, those are truly awful dreams. Hope your alarm clock magically fixes itself for you!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

OMG, totally! And so vivid.
Thanks for the hugs and sympathy. It'll be OK. I just need to get over the jetlag so I can be better at doing stuff.
On a slightly related note, when we went to see my MIL in St. Andrews, we met a friend of hers who has totally gone above and beyond the call of duty to help MIL out. I want to send her something but am not sure what. Something nice (I was thinking flowers, but now I'm thinking something more Harry & David style) and able to be shipped to Scotland. Probably about $50-75. Any thoughts? We come across some barriers with ordering things from UK sites to be delivered there, with a US credit card address. So that's always a challenge.
Happy Birthday, Trudy!!!

What about having a UK friend/relation put in the order on your behalf and reimbursing them? (And apologies if that's, like, screamingly obvious and already been tried)
Can you Amazon something? Do they allow for international shipping? I haven't tried.
I've ordered from Amazon.co.uk -- it totally can happen.
Amazon is one of the solutions we've figured out in the past, but I'm not sure what would be good for this friend. She's an older woman and I don't know her very well.
Nora, seems like one of those things where a Tesco's or equivalent grocery store gift card would be useful. Older people are usually on a fixed income budget.
