[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

sitting down, sitting up in order to stand up, etc. *That* caused the gasp-in-pain response.

Yeah, that was my thing too. I could even do yoga poses! But as it was a pulled muscle or something it healed up pretty quick. Glad you're on the mend as well.

I have gone to yoga. Then ate a burrito. Carnitas burrito, to be exact. Yum.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

We haven't had a coffee pot since my sister moved out in July. I've been living on black tea, mostly. These days it's Constant Comment.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I live and die by my Melitta filter. No moving parts! Nothing to break! Easy to knock over and spill, though. Also, cold-brewed coffee is a thing of wonder and beauty.

Oh god, I love this line from Michael Chabon's The Yiddish Policemen's Union..."He picks up a shot glass he's dating."

I'm listening to an excerpt from the audiobook, read by Peter Riegert on borders.com. I'm going to have to get this one.

move out and draw fire

I love the MD flag, although I'm not sure about it as a tattoo. Oddly, I thought briefly about getting the Zia from the NM flag as a tattoo...but I still have tattoo commitment issues.

Didja guys see that an ex-BF of the lead actress from High School Musical put naked photos of her on the internet? That's not the punchline. She just turned 18, so they are pre-18, so probably child porn. THAT'S not the punchline. They were published in a couple international newspapers, which are on my company's intranet. So yeah, the punchline is kiddie porn at work.

Art Crawl!!!

I love the Maryland flag too. . . isn't it black and yellow, not red?

Yellow and black and red. (and white)

Not sure about the tattoo-worthiness of it, but unusual to be sure.

eta: Turns out Marylanders are picky about how their flag is displayed.

Maryland is the only state in the union that has a specific guideline on not only how to display the flag but what the flagpole should look like as well. From the "Protocol for Maryland's Flag" (link below):

Only a gold cross bottony may be used as an ornament on the top of a flagstaff that carries the Maryland flag (State Government Article, §13-203). In Maryland, all public schools and government buildings obey this guideline; many private individuals and businesses do not.
