I think a lot of people can't deep down believe in "Garson" as a name, and so "correct" it. I know the Buffistas would not do this, but sadly most of the world are not buffistas.

I've mainly gotten "Wake up little Susie" and "Suzi-Q, baby I love you" sung to me. Oh, and Suzi Chapstick teasing. Not too bad. The maiden name was ripe for mangling and teasing - "Shake your Salami".
Tonight we had a good chunk of my dad's family together for dinner - it was great. We did get down to the name conversation and who uses what of the unpronounceable 14 letter and 2 hyphen last name that came with this side of the family. Most use a 6 letter shortened version. So far, I am the only married gal in the family and I took DH's last name.
So full of good food and so tired. It has been fun so far, but my aunt is going to kill me with her over zealous hostessing. I want to help out, darn it.
