[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm pretty certain no photography is allowed in there.

Pete with a sketchpad?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

You are asking about lunchtime activities after 2pm. WTF. Lunch was a while ago.

I eat lunch at my desk, and then go do productive things after everyone's cleared out of the store and/or gym. I went to the gym, BTW. Must look buff for FSF!

This is my stuff: [link]

Huh. I think I used to use Grease repackaged for the salon I went to in MSP. That stuff was the BOMB, and it had little toys inside!

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Skip skip skip.

I managed to go for a bike ride today. Yay me! And I have oodles of time tomorrow to go again.

Andi, are there particular flavors your group likes/dislikes? I have not yet baked with my agave syrup, but I'm more than willing to bite the bullet for you. Mmm, dessert.

Now for yesterday's Eureka, then laundromat.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I always seem to forget how utterly exhausting this whole teaching gig can be.

I think it's like childbirth. Summer hits, and you repress it, so you will go through it again. BUt I hear you. Last night I was DROOLINGLY tired.

Tonight I have to prep for teaching Chekhov and Bierce. I just finished Duras and HAwthorne. Short story units for both my seniors and juniors...although I cheated and taught an excerpt of "The Lover."

I'm such a weird-ass teacher. I can't believe I taught Duras. I am fucking crazy. Although we had some excellent discussions from it, the non-linear writing drove many students nuts.

Also, i/2 of my senior now think of Marguerite Duras as that "ugly-ass French ho." Le sigh.

I applied to 2 schools, got into both, rejected a scholarship and going to one because I followed a boy to college (who ended up not even going there) and have zero regrets about my choice, even though it was far from a top-notch school. I met most of my best friends in the world there, we are still supatight and I had a fucking blast. Also had some great profs in my profession.

Hated high school with a fiery blazing hate like unto the heart of a nuclear blast...which is why I am again spending 8+ hours a day at high school.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I am Prom advisor this year. Kill. Me. NOW.

And the F2F is in the midwest next year. Hmmm...

I never had a prom. I sense a plan!

Sparky, I managed to do some of the path, and will do more tomorrow. Went from Conshy almost to Manayunk but had to return to work.

Guy and I are still very very slowly planning to meet. Possibly this Saturday.

Trust me: F2F Prom is waaaaayy more exciting than HS Prom. Slightly sexier outfits, and (thank Jesus) way more fucking booze. Ahem. Way more open, legal booze.

Although our Prom's DJ is gonna be hot, and frankly, my students are fucking awesome dancers.

Midwest? Really? I haven't been to a F2F in a couple years...KC is great for conventions, et. al.

Think of the fun you could have in imposing a theme, though!!
