Oh my, the helicopter being used for the Leonardo Dicaprio movie being shot at the market is circling. A flyer was distributed letting people know of this eventuality..."It's not a terrorist!" I was not informed. Somehow, living above a liquor store means I never get neighborhood notices. Must think a) no one lives here, b) someone living over a liquor store wouldn't care!
The poor extras are wearing winter coats. Oh my.
EGAD! The booms from earlier must have been something else. The car just blew up even closer to my windo when I expected, and now a billow of black smoke is headed straight into my house. Blergh.
Poor Bartleby just jumped 3 feet and is looking quite worried.

Beej, I've been on the hunt for the perfect product and I have a bunch I'd be happy to let you try out - I use most of them at various times, depending on my mood, the weather, how short my hair is. My problem's been finding something with enough hold that doesn't make my hair look dull. Oneof the Got 2 Be products - "Defiant" - gives me the shine, but not the hold ... but it smells really nice.

The kid dressing discussion reminded me of the time my sister picked my nephew up for school and he was wearing shorts, a plaid flannel shirt, bright red soccer socks and cowboy boots. Both my brother's kids dress themselves (often in a quite goofy manner) and they are still quite popular with the other kids. Of course, this is Los Angeles.
