My problem's been finding something with enough hold that doesn't make my hair look dull. Oneof the Got 2 Be products - "Defiant" - gives me the shine, but not the hold ... but it smells really nice.

The kid dressing discussion reminded me of the time my sister picked my nephew up for school and he was wearing shorts, a plaid flannel shirt, bright red soccer socks and cowboy boots. Both my brother's kids dress themselves (often in a quite goofy manner) and they are still quite popular with the other kids. Of course, this is Los Angeles.
