Good morning, good morning. (For me)
I'm killing time in a Panera so that rush hour traffic lets up and I can start the, well, actually, quite short drive home. Bless Panera and its free internet. It ranks up there with libraries and the free books they offer... only Panera comes with tasty beverages, too. Green iced tea this morning. Yum.
Oh, I love Panara! I wish I one close enough to actually go to. Their Chicken and Wild Rice soup is like none other.
mmm...Panera. Easily on my top 10 things I miss the most!
I come home the day before MLK day, so that won't work, but we'll still have fun!
Cool - I'm excited too. I reminded Joe about it yesterday and his response was, "cool! I love meeting new Buffistas. They are all a little different, but always lots of fun" which of course made me laugh because it's so true.
Awwww...I like that Joe! I'm excited about the whole trip, but I really think I'm most excited about finally getting to meet you guys. I mean, being a beach bum will be fun, but I finally get to meet you guys! YAY!
Ok, I'm abusing the exclamation point again. I'll go do a little happy dance in the privacy of my own home.
Yay for your trip, vw. Now with added buffista visiting. Awesome.
Hee. Joe's got it right.
One kid down, one to go. K-Bug is taking a zero period class, so we dropped her off before 7am. I got a kiss and everything in full view of the school.
Now CJ and I are hanging out until it is time to walk over to his school.
Heh. It's 9pm in my world. Cracks me up that y'all are having breakfast!
FAY!!!!! Nekkid Fay? Doesn't really matter - cause - FAY!!!!!
I'm teaching my first class of the semester in an hour. It's going to be just a few minutes, probably -- it's scheduled as a session for going over any questions about the previous week's material, but since it's the first class of the week, there's really nothing to do the first week other than go over a few boring administrative things.
Grrrr. My in-laws are keeping the kids overnight and my twin sister is keeping the kids for FIVE nights. My elder sister, who insisted she would help, who took time off of work and swore she would help us out is now giving me grief and futzing on her promise to help.
My twin is a lawyer who works long hours. It says a lot for her and her boss for her to be taking as much time off of work as she is (especially since she took a lot of time off to get married this summer).
My elder sister really just needs to cover one 24 hour period, which she promised she'd do.
Now I'm in full panic mode because we have to take the kids to Indiana tomorrow and I realize what I'm expecting of people in taking two toddlers for a week.
