Young Simon: So... how'd the Independents cut us off? Young River: They were using dinosaurs.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Having lived in Montreal and London, I can wholeheartedly say that it's colder being in London than in Montreal. We never had burst pipes or a layer of ice in our toilets in Montreal.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

This should not be seekrit! Everyone should love it!

Okay, okay. I've really been digging "Packin' & Drivin'" of late. Everyone should buy Secret Crush Society's Baltimore Chapter stat!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I haven't suffered that much from the cold in December in SF in my admittedly drafty apartment. But we all just huddle around the heater in the living room and it's tolerable.

And it's often 62 in December.

Punishingly Intricate

Thanks, megan!!! I will stop giving you shit about how cold you will be in December.

That song is on our set list for Vegas. We've speeded it up a ton (thinking that at 2 am, even in Vegas, a set loaded with the fast and loud is better than slow and quiet) and I'm totally in love with it again!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Sooper-sekrit message to PC: Fave songs so far on T&S's The Con are Nineteen, The Con, Hop a Plane, and Dark Come Soon.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Did both have central heating?

Did both have central heating?

Yes. But only one put a premium on heating the bathroom, or running the pipes somewhere they weren't at the naked mercy of the weather.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I blame Central Services.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ooh, GC. I haven't checked it out yet.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

It's appallingly hot here, humid, and the sun is annoyingly bright. But I don't care - my boss is gone and I'm positively euphoric. No more wondering what she's going to jump on me about, no more having to get approval to get info from someone on staff, she's gone! And I am being mature and professional about it - I'm not running down the hall singing "ding dong the witch is dead!"
