I'd like to begin the day with an earworm.
Hi, all! Fun night was had with my boys and a good burger and some martinis. Now that my body is getting used to school hours again, I was up at 8:30 (which is still sleeping in). I've made iced coffee, cleaned the kitchen and cut up a watermelon.
I need to continue the productivity and start packing today. Uckies.

Went to my cousin's wedding yesterday. It was over 100 degrees, outdoors, in a very beautiful but completely impractical garden. There was a nice staircase and walkway to the alter, but all the tables were set on grass over bumpy ground, no shade. We all completely melted. Anyone in heels either sank into the earth or tried not to twist and ankle when walking around.
We did have an interesting time people watching. The bride's family does not match her at all. They seemed straight out of Deliverance. People that show up to a wedding with their own coolers of beer? Yeah. Twas an interesting evening.
But I guess it was the perfect wedding - beautiful pictures and interesting stories.
