Much obliged. This? Oh, it's just a very long violin. Really.
Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
O I thought it was a trombone
(you need the longer barrel)
How tall is the clock tower?
Speaking of trombones, my father's got a student who's going to be performing "Trombonology" by Tommy Dorsey in a month or so. The kid is a junior in high school. I wouldn't have attempted the piece at the height of my trombone-playing powers, 20 years ago.
Perhaps I should take this to the Music thread, but I'm enjoying the stream-of-consciousness riff.
eta: Laga, it's tall enough to pepper innocent passers-by with percussively-articulated arpeggios for at least a block and a half.
aw darn, cuz the thread inspired me to try and finish chapter 4 of Gears of War, and yet, the last chapter is KILLING ME. Grrrr. How to kill "boomers". Or rather the group after the pair off boomers.
OK, but shifted to music.... :: hums all you need is love ::
I have to admit to ignorance of "Trombonology". My trombone player is Glenn Miller.
I'm listening to "Break-up" on This American Life and getting very sad.
I've got Eddie Izzard playing while doing the Gears of War thing. I should quit the GoW and just watch Eddie. Can't seem to finish this last 1/2 section.
I've been playing photo scavenger hunt
I'm gonna crash. Sweet dreams, bitcas.
grrr. finally tried Cataan LIVE against others. I was halfway to winning (and in the lead), and stupid Xbox Live booted me out. Grrrr.
I know, such 1st world woes. It's the "gotta win at a game" person in me, I suppose.
And with that, I'll follow Laga's lead, and head off to bed. Cheers y'all.
