Oh, well good. I mildly inconvenienced someone's pan, then.
Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay Omnis for beating the funk!

Most new cast iron pans sold today come pre-seasoned and can be used right out of the box.
I own my dad's square cast iron "roaster" that he got from his mom. It's very unusual, being about 4 inches deep on the sides, with a heavy lid on top that has little spikes for directing drippings onto the roast or chicken.

Heh. Those are almost as expensive as the real thing.
I love my cast iron skillet. I have absolutely no idea how old it is. It's been passed around my family for a while.
Now I just gotta get in bed early enough to wake up and drive to work before 8am... did I mention I am a night person??
Oh, omnis, I so feel your pain. I am a big night person, but with my job and (temporary) commute, I have to leave home at 6:30. The first 2 weeks truly sucked, but I'm getting used to it now. Last night, I fell asleep at 10 and woke up today at 8. Naturally. Which is so very strange for me, I can't even begin to explain it.
