We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Source of much amusement, a blog that posts bits from police blotters around the country: [link]

Erie County, NY
A woman reportedly parked her vehicle on Hamilton Road overnight and when she returned, it had been covered in marshmallow fluff, bologna and mustard.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Most new cast iron pans sold today come pre-seasoned and can be used right out of the box.

I own my dad's square cast iron "roaster" that he got from his mom. It's very unusual, being about 4 inches deep on the sides, with a heavy lid on top that has little spikes for directing drippings onto the roast or chicken.

Our wings are not tired

Gronk. It is way too early. I've been at the theatre for close to 20 minutes aleady, and it's a 50 mile drive to get here.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Wrong like a wrong thing, Drew.

This [link] is probably waaay overboard as a housewarming present to myself, isn't it?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Shouldn't you be decorating your new place?

Heh. Those are almost as expensive as the real thing.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I love my cast iron skillet. I have absolutely no idea how old it is. It's been passed around my family for a while.

Now I just gotta get in bed early enough to wake up and drive to work before 8am... did I mention I am a night person??

Oh, omnis, I so feel your pain. I am a big night person, but with my job and (temporary) commute, I have to leave home at 6:30. The first 2 weeks truly sucked, but I'm getting used to it now. Last night, I fell asleep at 10 and woke up today at 8. Naturally. Which is so very strange for me, I can't even begin to explain it.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

HI!!!!!!

Home Internet. Happy hapyy joy fucking joy.

Miss me? I missed y'all.

Lemme see....8/23 was my bday (I am 35 -- quelle WTF?!). School has started, I have been busy as hell, but it's been a fabulous start to the year and I love my job more than ever.

My birthday was wonderful.

Hec, I chopped 6 inches off my hair. Calm down. It's still bright red, but instead of hitting mid back, it's a nape-length in the back, chin-length in the front choppy, flippy messy bob. I love it.

I have finally -- FINALLY -- (knock on wood) gotten my finances much better order. I almost have my car back (3 weeks, tops; I've been carless since 12/16), I have paid off all 48 parking tickets and my student loan payment rehab program that I was paying more than my RENT for for the last 10 months just went down two days ago -- by almost 1/2. Almost $300.

I lost 10 pounds this summer, not even trying.

My depression is hugely under control.

Everything is...kinda awesome. Which means a large rusty anvil will prolly fall on my head as soon as I hit "post" but I don't fucking care. It just might be a glancing head wound.

How IS everyone?!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

ERIN!!!! No anvils! Just Erinlove!
