Hell, I don't know. If I had wanted schooling, I'da gone to school.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Well, apparently they've done all the tests and have found nothing in the way of an infection, which means the leukemia is getting worse. He may not come out of the hospital after all. This is probably the beginning of the end.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm so sorry to hear that, GC. Much strength to you and your GF and her family.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

{{{GC & family }}} Added strength from me to you and yours as well.

Let's go, Yankees! Clap, clap, clapclapclap

gazes approvingly at Omnis while wearing a pinstriped jersey

Robin, thank you! I thought I was alone. Always nice to know someone has your back.

LET'S GO YANKEES ! ! ! clap clap clapclapclap

Too bad I gotta work while the Bo-Sox/Yankees game is on. Stupid theater getting in the way of true entertainment!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

To update the maxim, rooting for the Yankees is like rooting for Microsoft to have a good quarter.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I can only hear Katherine Hepburn saying this.
I'm totally earwormed for this.

All the health and peace~ma possible for GC's GF's Dad, and the whole family.

Job~ma for meara and JZ, and Susan's DH.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

~ma to all my bitches. And their families.

Home for the EXTRA innings A's game. We won. Woooot! Twas HOT. Ya know, wearing a wig and a ton of metal pins when it is HOT is not a particularly bright thing to do. Ah well.

We won!!!

Ummmm, I should have more, but between the alcohol and the brain fry...that is all I have.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

GC, strength and ~ma to GF's dad. I'm so sorry.

Geez, Toddson, I hope your sister's totally all right. That's some scary shit.

Happy birthday, meara and Jen!

In me=dummy news, I've decided to go to Dragon*Con, at the last possible minute. I'll be driving, though I swore after the F2F I wouldn't drive to Atlanta again. Anyone else going?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Back from the M's game. We've now lost 5 in a row.

On the plus side, playoff tickets ARE awfully expensive.

The status is NOT quo.

{{{GC & GF & family}}} You are in my thoughts. Please let me know if I can do anything.

Eep, Toddson! Wishing good thoughts for your sister.

So much job~ma for birthday girl meara!

Also, requesting interview~ma at 7ish tomorrow morning -- mostly from the East Coast and UnAmerican Bitches, since all the West Coasters will probably still be either in bed or gronking. (Except Suzi, whose ~ma I do most humbly request.)

School is back in session. Not only will I be up, I'll be most of the way to work! So job ~ma will be coming from me, too.

Hope the dentist visit went well, Trudy.

So tomorrow is student orientation. Ack! I'm not ready for them! Must scramble to Staples for remaining supplies.

Also? The schedule is beyond screwed up here at school. OMG so very screwed up. Beyond belief. Students with overlapping core classes and all science labs missing screwed up. I was on the Scheduling Task Force last year, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that nothing we'd planned for actually came to pass in any workable format. The students are *not* going to be amused when they realize how bad it's going to be. Sigh.

I have signed up to be on Revenge of Scheduling Task Force. Hope springs eternal.
