Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

It's a special complex that has miniature versions of classic baseball fields. Minature Fenway, Wrigley, Ebbets, Polo Grounds, Tiger Stadium. Cool!

Oh, that sounds really cool!

Go Emmett and team! Sounds like a great weekend of games.

~ma to Susan's mom and Susan and family too.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, that sounds really cool!

It's like BaseballLand! It's expensive, of course.

And it's a Pony League tournament so we probably couldn't just waltz in there and win. (Different rules that we're less familar playing - like straight steals and lead offs etc.)

But it'd be fun making a catch up against the Little Green Monster.

Here's their website.

Totally!

I've lived here five summers now, and I've never been inside Fenway. I need to fix that next summer, me thinks.

Gee, if only Nutty had some time off right now...

I bet Scola would come up and watch a game with you.

The problem with this summer has been time. I've been traveling a lot... And I leave again on Friday for 10 days.

Much ~ma to Susan and mom. This does seem to be an especially rough summer for Buffistas parents. That should stop. Now.

In good news, today, I had a good day at work, saw a guy in a tan utili-kilt on the way home - not a common site in this fairly small town - and was productive at home, completing:

  • two loads of laundry washed, dried, folded and put away
  • a drainer of dishes
  • dinner from scratch with leftovers for four lunches or dinners, customized with toppings to avoid boredom
  • a catch-all dresser drawer cleaned out.

I also had a fairly productive Sunday, and didn't turn on tv until 8, and didn't really watch much then. This is a huge deal for me, as I've spent most of the last year paralyzed by my horribly messy house. That is to say, yes, I do dishes, laundry, etc., but I've been unable to even chip away at the big stuff. This has gotten even worse this summer, since I've been sick so much of it and recuperating and exhausted much of the rest. I'm kind of proud of myself right now.

Granola and yogurt:

Another thing I did tonight: finished a really good book. I've been trying to push myself into reading more non-fiction, but this one was easy. It's called Carved in Sand, and it's all about midlife memory loss. I know that topic doesn't sound all that exciting, but the author was really good (laugh out loud funny, I kid you not) and the topic was interesting. And it was actually kind of hopeful and inspiring. I highly recommend it.

Um. I thought this was documented. Isn't it sex every 4.7 minutes, and some stupid, useless info (sports, TV, movies, gadgets, etc) in the time between. :: removes tongue from cheek ::

omg VW! I lived in NH for two summers and saw 4 or 5 games... AND I"M A YANKEE FAN (o boy it wasn't smart wearing that cap... so I did it again :P )

There is still time left this season for you to go. I think the 1st base side is best, tho I do wonder what the seats on the wall would be like.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Oh man I feel like crap. I Can Not be getting sick. But I was just in the walk-in freezer and it felt really good. I'ma take some airborne and go right to bed when I get home.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

All kinds of ~ma to Susan and her mom.

Yays!!! to Emmett and libkitty!

Laga, no getting sick! I forbid it! And, yes, I have that power. Or, at least, I so WISH I had that power.
