Hey, if it means I don't have to read any more, woo and, might I add, a big hoo.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I really need to start dressing more steampunk.

Anything more than just jeans and a t-shirt, which it seems is all my wardrobe is these days.

Yeah, I need to dress more steampunk.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I wonder what the higher ups here at the theatre would say to me wearing Steam Punk. Firstly, I'm too lazy to do the hair as was shown. So just a casual part on the side probably wouldn't look as cool in the Steam punk. Eh. I'm not known for my sense of fashion anyhow.

Laga - Being a Bad Nephew does not make you a Bad Person. I've been a Bad Aunt since 1987.

Ya, but that's Bad in a totally cool way, I'm sure ;-)

Mostly lurking...

Border 2 is on! Only four more to go! [link] I'm liking it better and better each step of the way, which is kind of fun. May finish the top tomorrow. I hope, anyways...

brillig

A closer fit is better, especially when you're dealing with armor.

A poorly fitting gambeson is just a pain in the neck to fit under a breast plate, never mind getting the pauldrons on properly.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

He's such a handsome critter. Hard to believe he's such a poop spreader.

Truer words were never spoken.

I'm hopelessly behind everywhere because I didn't bring my laptop on this trip and so am limited to the crackberry. Weekend family stuff was okay, all things considered, and now we're staying in a gorgeous B&B in San Diego right by Balboa Park. We walked to the zoo today! Was fun. Saw many cool animals including a Timber Wolf and his best friend, a Golden Retriever. Too cute.

Now flopped in bed contemplating the evening. We head home tomorrow. Nice to have time just the two of us. Okay, thumbs tired. Hope everyone is doing well. Smooches and glitter!

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

lisah, I am totally going to take you up on your airfare superpower, as soon as mom gives me better indication of dates.

Belated Birthday Happies to Fred Pete and Happy Birthday wishes to Robin.

That's a very nice quilt, vw. Sorry for the interview nonsense, meara.

I really liked Jilli's interview. I also concur with Hec re: Owen.

Now I am putting together a deposit to take to the bank for tomorrow. I was busy all day today. Tomorrow looks pretty busy too. Boo for work taking up my day. Hooray, beer money.

{{Kristin and Drew}}

After getting off to a slow start, I was mega-productive-woman today! I:

1. Dropped off kitchen knives for sharpening
2. Went to the post office
3. Dropped off shoes for stretching (too narrow)
4. Got free spices at Penzey's
5. Lunched at Chipotle
6. Bought some new clothes for work
7. Got quarters for laundry
8. Dropped off a Mary Kay order
9. Went to the grocery store.

I did all that in less than 4 hours. Fear me.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm very impressed, ChiKat.
