I'm hopelessly behind everywhere because I didn't bring my laptop on this trip and so am limited to the crackberry. Weekend family stuff was okay, all things considered, and now we're staying in a gorgeous B&B in San Diego right by Balboa Park. We walked to the zoo today! Was fun. Saw many cool animals including a Timber Wolf and his best friend, a Golden Retriever. Too cute.
Now flopped in bed contemplating the evening. We head home tomorrow. Nice to have time just the two of us. Okay, thumbs tired. Hope everyone is doing well. Smooches and glitter!
lisah, I am totally going to take you up on your airfare superpower, as soon as mom gives me better indication of dates.
Belated Birthday Happies to Fred Pete and Happy Birthday wishes to Robin.
That's a very nice quilt, vw. Sorry for the interview nonsense, meara.
I really liked Jilli's interview. I also concur with Hec re: Owen.
Now I am putting together a deposit to take to the bank for tomorrow. I was busy all day today. Tomorrow looks pretty busy too. Boo for work taking up my day. Hooray, beer money.

After getting off to a slow start, I was mega-productive-woman today! I:
1. Dropped off kitchen knives for sharpening
2. Went to the post office
3. Dropped off shoes for stretching (too narrow)
4. Got free spices at Penzey's
5. Lunched at Chipotle
6. Bought some new clothes for work
7. Got quarters for laundry
8. Dropped off a Mary Kay order
9. Went to the grocery store.
I did all that in less than 4 hours. Fear me.
I'm very impressed, ChiKat.

Vortex, I've been really wondering what happened to this guy and figured I scared him off.
But there he was, so we'll see what happens. For awhile I was very much thinking "I must have done something to freak him out/repulse him" but now I've moved on to "who the hell knows how men think."
And I have to thank him because the cute outfit I'm planning to wear is also very very comfortable and it's going to be gross and hot tomorrow. High of 100F with a heat index of 110F, and forecast to rain, which means it'll "cool down" to the high 80s and feel like a sauna. Blech.
now I've moved on to "who the hell knows how men think."
Much wiser and sane-making.
slounges in fear of ChiKat's productivity
now I've moved on to "who the hell knows how men think."
This is the sanest approach, imho.
If you think men are a problem, try figuring out women!
