I just sent sj and teacup guy home. I think they liked dessert.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy Anniversary, Jessica and Fonebone!
I had a pretty lazy day, but got a lot of my house cleaning done despite the lazy. Now I want a big helping of whatever vw was serving for dessert.
ChiKat, I'm glad you were safe, along with all your 6th graders. Yay for having power back on.
I had ice cream for dessert - a scoop of triple chocolate, a scoop of Mint Chocolate Chip, and some Hershey's syrup on it. Yum. I'm pretending it's not bad for me because it was no sugar added ice cream.
That's a bit too much excitement, ChiKat. Eeep!
Happy Anniversary to Jessica & FoneBone! I hope Dylan was extra sweet to you both today. Also hope there was dessert!
I'm tired. Just got up from a nap and showered. It has been non-stop perpetual motion since leaving Otter Lake. Drove straight through. Got the kids back to school and me back to work. The living room still has suitcases and various travel debris strewn about. We just won’t talk about the horror that is my bedroom and bath. I spent serious hours in the kitchen today so we can stop worrying about the dept of health getting on my case.
I was awoken from a sound sleep last evening with the news that my friend Bob passed away. It has been over 2 months since he had his heart attack, and it is a blessing that this is over for him. It has been too hard on him, in and out of the hospital. It’s hard to say if he ever understood what had happened to him. RIP my dear friend. We were at the hospital until 2:30 this morning and DH spent most of the day making arrangements. We decided to charter a boat for half a day and have a grand farewell for him.
Very busy at work. I hired an assistant. Yay! I think I am going to love her. We are moving our offices upstairs in the same building to a larger space. We have a couple weeks with both places so it shouldn’t be too crazy. Lots going on.
It has been impossible to keep up at all here. Hopefully things will calm down a bit so I can have more Buffista time in my life.
Laura, I'm sorry to hear about you losing your friend. Here's to the good memories.
Laura, I'm so sorry about Bob.
I had a pretty lazy day, but got a lot of my house cleaning done despite the lazy.
Speaking as a professional lazy person, if you're accomplishing something, you're not being lazy. Keep that up, and your license to laze may be revoked. If the Lazy Council ever gets around to it.
Oh, Laura, I am so sorry.
I'm so sorry, Laura.
RIP, Bob. I'm so sorry for your loss, Laura.
Thanks all. It's been a tough couple months. Releasing him by signing the DNR was something his wife hated doing, but the right thing to do. Lots of great memories from many years of friendship will help us through this time. (still pissed at him for taking such poor care of his body)
Loved ones - stop smoking!
My list for the rest of the day includes painting my toe nails. That is the only thing on the list. I have gathered the essential items. It may yet happen.
Why am I watching Ring protecting Hobbits on TNT when I could pop in the DVD? Also, why is my Eureka download not done yet? These questions and many more will be answered... No, they probably won't be answered.
