I really don't feel like going out tonight (either energy wise or spending the money), but I think that my friend is having a "last night in DC" Thing is, he's one of those people that always abandons friends when he's dating someone. I've called him on it several times, and finally just resigned myself to the fact that he's never going to be as good a friend to me as I am to him (even with not close friends, I have a certain standard :)). I haven't heard from him since his going away party a few weeks ago. Heard from a mutual friend this afternoon that there might be something tonight. Got home, saw I had a VM message from him. I don't really want to go. I feel vaguely obligated, but at the same time, I really don't feel like we're friends any more.
