Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

must be clever, witty and intriguing.

So in otherwords, you have to be your usual self?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, that's a stretch for you. @@

not your mom's socks.

Baby is here! Can't wait to meet her!

oh d - hooray! That's great news! You've been a big part of the journey on this one, I know! Is the anklet off?

It was a great morning - thank you again for coming.

meara - good luck with everything ('cept the hoffbrau house... yeesh.) - you are doing a lot of interviews in a short time - of course your head is playing games. but look at the kickass twist - you're doing a lot of interviews in a short time. that has to tell you something.

must be clever, witty and intriguing.

I say you should channel Vortex. She's incredibly clever, witty, and intriguing.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Vortex = hawtness. In person and in text.

I posted some hair pictures. They kinda suck at showing the cut, but taking pictures of oneself is hard.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I say you should channel Vortex. She's incredibly clever, witty, and intriguing.
Great idea! Vortex, you should ask Vortex what she'd write.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

ugh. I really don't feel like going out tonight (either energy wise or spending the money), but I think that my friend is having a "last night in DC" Thing is, he's one of those people that always abandons friends when he's dating someone. I've called him on it several times, and finally just resigned myself to the fact that he's never going to be as good a friend to me as I am to him (even with not close friends, I have a certain standard :)). I haven't heard from him since his going away party a few weeks ago. Heard from a mutual friend this afternoon that there might be something tonight. Got home, saw I had a VM message from him. I don't really want to go. I feel vaguely obligated, but at the same time, I really don't feel like we're friends any more.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I vote with beth. It's one thing to be torn when it's your zero-energy up against someone you feel fondly towards--this guy sounds like he's eroded goodwill.

Be good to yourself.
