[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So, how are meara plans coming along?

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I had a very fun time with Sox, so thanks again!

I got home to find the plumber finishing up in my bathroom, so another yay.

My third yay is that my pregnant client has gone into labor with her second child so Baby Arriving Soon!

Another friend is adopting a year old baby girl, which is also very exciting.

Um. There are no meara plans. (Hi, I just got out of my interview and am flipping out that no one likes me and I will never get a job and I will go live in a cardboard box).

I offer a time: 9AM. Because I figure I have to be at the airport at 11:15, so leave around, what, 10:30? Depending on where we are?

Now someone pick a place.

And tell me how to get there. And how to get from there to the airport.

Yay.

meara, what's your top choice at the moment? Seattle or San Francisco? Interviews can be of the suck, so I hope you are done for the moment.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

pets meara

I sent you an email, sweetie. I don't know how you want to work the transport thing, but I can make a reservation in SF somewhere if you like.

I'm fine with San Fran, juilana, and I think they'd be OK with me taking the cab either to brunch or from brunch to airport. But I would need help figuring out the other end of it, the one I didn't take the cab for.

d, I'm not sure--I have one more interview (on Monday!) in Seattle. I'm really really liking the idea of the city of Seattle, but I think I liked this company more as a company.

We'll see if any of them hire me though. Ack.

Our wings are not tired

I have an odd career. Today for work I'm going to be watching as many of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies as I can. A few of the folks working for me on this project will be joining. We'll probably start in about half an hour.

On Sunday we do Friday the 13th. We already did Texas Chainsaw Massacre on Tuesday.

Why must each of these series have so may movies? There are 7 Nightmare movies, and 10 of the Friday the 13th movies. Oh dear doG!

But eventually, you get to watch Freddy vs. Jason, right? Because that's loads of fun.
