Pete & ND (& others that are wanting to get head-shot by Pete): Ah, yes, I recall mention of Goth Garage sale now. So this weekend is out. I will know more after the 2:00 meeting about next weekend. I think our best bet is the 1st in the late afternoon/evening. And I'm getting better. Starting to get the hang of walk/look/run better. And the quick re-load. Still not so good on duck and cover. Maybe not as super-easy target, maybe just easy target now.

See, I kind of respect that she's trying to take control of the temptations in her work environment - but, seriously, SO much more polite to explain that she's weak-willed and ask you to keep them out of sight, rather than appointing herself the candy police and making it feel like it's your bad. It's not your bad.

There are people at work who get annoyed when we have birthday cake and the like because they are trying to lose weight. To me, it's very selfish. Why do the rest of us have to suffer? There are other options. Leaving the office during that time or bringing your own lower-fat dessert option come to mind.
