the key to thank you notes is to buy small ones. That way, saying a little looks like a lot.
Sing it, sister. I always buy tiny ones.
juliana is a hot motorcycle mama.
Aims, that buffet looks great!
Drum roll, please... Shoe post! I bought these for school since I knew I had to do a lot of walking and hoped to look sugar doing it. They are flats that are made kinda like tennis shoes and they are indeed comfy: [link] Side: [link]
Bonus sleeping kitty shot: [link] I sent this to GF yesterday with the caption "wish you were here! love, jojo" as she is sleeping on GF's pillow.
Also, I have my third phone call today at noon with that company that contacted me through LinkedIn. Eep.
Aims, those front legs may not be made for the weight of a TV. Just food for thought.
Oh, I'm with Pete on that one Aimee. It's a pretty piece, but not meant for weight bearing...this from a woman who completely crushed a spindly leg antique with a sewing machine years ago.

Today, I am all "Burning Man, let you get started". It's like staging a war, people. Or, more accurately, a touring show. I think bacon is required.
Miracleman, Owen's new favorite show? Yo Gabba Gabba. I'm fucking DOOMED.

I cannot recommend enough investing in Pee Wee's Playhouse. That's pretty much all I watched with Emmett in his early years.
We do have that On Demand, Hec. I'm hoping Owen eventually likes it but he seems to have taken to this new thing with an obsession that reminds me that he's my kid.

holy wow is that the worst trainwreck. Sorry not to be a team player, but I hope this isn't a buffista-baby trend... Iris is obsessing about bob the builder, and that's about as much as I can take.

Paranoid post-interview question:
So, I did indeed do handwritten notes for yesterday's interview, which, since they're just going from one neighborhood to another within SF, should arrive tomorrow. Should I tell Hec not to bother mailing them and just do email notes instead? Mail them anyway but also send a brief email note saying, "Hi, you'll get a formal handwritten note tomorrow, but just wanted to say thanks and here's my boss's phone number in case you have more questions about my work history"? Or is that too desperate?
I really really liked these people. Please let me not bung it up!
