Mal: And I never back down from a fight. Inara: Yes, you do! You do all the time!

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

Miracleman, Owen's new favorite show? Yo Gabba Gabba. I'm fucking DOOMED.

holy wow is that the worst trainwreck. Sorry not to be a team player, but I hope this isn't a buffista-baby trend... Iris is obsessing about bob the builder, and that's about as much as I can take.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Paranoid post-interview question:

So, I did indeed do handwritten notes for yesterday's interview, which, since they're just going from one neighborhood to another within SF, should arrive tomorrow. Should I tell Hec not to bother mailing them and just do email notes instead? Mail them anyway but also send a brief email note saying, "Hi, you'll get a formal handwritten note tomorrow, but just wanted to say thanks and here's my boss's phone number in case you have more questions about my work history"? Or is that too desperate?

I really really liked these people. Please let me not bung it up!

Our wings are not tired

So, by next weekend do you mean the 1st & 2nd? Just making sure we're on the same page, ND.

Yes.

Owen, too? We're ALL doomed.

DH thinks it's some kind of programming/brainwashing device to create an army of unstoppable toddler and preschooler minions, and that after a few more episodes our kids are going to stage an uprising on behalf of whatever Evil Mind lurks behind the show.

I really do think either works, JZ. Since you've already written the notes, I'd go ahead and send them.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Emeline's favorite bedtime song is the theme from "Wonder Pets"

Lenny, Tuck, and Ming-Ming too! We're Wonder Pets and we'll help you!"

and for the uprising, the parents will all be expected to sew costumes out of that nasty furry-toxic stuff, and bake 150 green/puce cupcakes.

OK - so what was the show that you loved but your parents couldn't take?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Annabel likes that one, but in our new Yo Gabba Gabba world, if you ask her if she likes her food, she sings "There's a party in my tummy--so nummy! so nummy!"
