[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Much ~ma of all kinds for Daisy Jane's family.

I just got word from my friend Holly's DH, that after 12 hours of labor, they ended up taking the baby by C-section, and that Holly and baby boy Corey are doing well.

So happy!

vw, it's good you have all that reading material. I hope your rescheduled flight goes well.

Mostly lurking...

Yay for baby Corey!

Looks like my flight is delayed. That might make me cranky.

Happy birthday, Fay!

I wish we were celebrating your moving in, Vortex.

Nine times out of ten, if I sent you a picture of what I had on my feet, it would just be socks. The two best things about a home office: no commute and no shoes.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Baby! So glad to hear baby and mom are well, Andi.

Windsparrow, I'm glad to hear mother and baby are doing well. Congratulations to your friend!

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Ugh.

What a morning.

I like my new job SO much better than my old one with the semi-abusive boss, but still...ugh. People seem to think my predecessor did a brain dump of some kind giving me all his knowledge. At least, they keep expecting me to know things no one has ever told me. And my boss has a habit of dumping a week's worth of work on me at once on Mondays at the staff meeting and immediately afterward, which frazzles me because I feel like I'm expected to do it at once. It was worse than normal today because there was a wreck or a stall in the express lanes and the bus was late, so I didn't even have time to gather my thoughts, check my email, or just get my introvert's alone time in before staff meeting.

Herding cats for fun

Sounds like vw is a true Literary Buffista with that stash of books to travel with. Well done!

Happy, Happy Birthday Fay!
