Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Compassionately intolerant

Vortex, another option is Nature's Miracle . I have found it to work brilliantly in every protein-based stain I've ever used it on. Food, pet issues, blood...everything.

I had the exact same issue with a mattress where the stain was long-since set. Nature's Miracle cleared it up straight away.

Hey, Empress, did you get the box?

move out and draw fire

lisah, they are yours. Email me with your mailing address?

3.5 hours of sleep last night. OTOH, the house is starting to look like people live here and are not just breaking a squat.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

ACK!

Yes! We did get the box!

Which of course set off a whole thing because my mother was convinced I was buying things from eBay. I had to show her your note. @@

Thank you so much. She wore the pastel plaid dress yesterday and was SO EFFING CUTE.

ION, I fell asleep at my desk and was just awakened by a tenant. D'oh!

Because books.

Oh, honey. I'm sorry. I can email if you want! I'll tell her!

Glad you liked the stuff. I hope it fits -- I know Em is tall.

Ha, thanks!! No, it was fine once I showed her the note. She was In A Mood that day anyway.

Everything works great so far. The dress just couldn't be cuter with her little pink faux-Crocs.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I think Eden Espinoza (current Elphaba in LA) is better than Idina Mendel (OBC Elphie).

Yeah, I saw it in DC with Stephanie Block (OBC Boy From Oz), and I thought that she was better than Idina as well. Not that Idina doesn't rock, but Stephanie had better phrasing and tone, I thought.

I actually have a pretty strong suspicion that it's entirely accountable to the difference between performing for a live audience and performing for a microphone with pantyhose in front of it, inside a claustrophobic glass booth.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So....on my new temp assignment? They're not even going to set me up with an email account.

So I can't schedule meetings or coference rooms. I can't even really do any work like Powerpoint because I can't email it to the person when I'm done.

I get that they want to limit my responsibilities for the two weeks I'm covering this desk, but this is ridiculous.

Oh well. Phones and mail, and they can overpay me for that.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The Elphaba I saw last weekend in Chicago was really great. In profile, she looked like Chloe Sevigny. Glinda was HIGH-larious. And very, very teeny. Teeny teeny teeny.
