Just went back to WeightWatchers for the first time in three weeks. I was up 0.2 lbs., which was less than I expected. Time to get back on it, though. I want to take better care of myself. My plan for when I reach my goal weight is to invest in my first re-enacting costume, because if I do it right, it'll be the most expensive outfit I've ever owned and will give me a wonderful incentive to STAY around that weight. So I talked to the leader after the meeting, and he loves the idea of me showing up as a visitor from ~1812 once I've made it to goal and gotten my outfit made.
My college roommate is stopping here tonight on her way back to Dallas after leaving her daughter at NC State. It seems quite impossible that Meredith could be old enough to go to college.

I'm glad you're feeling better than yesterday, Laura. Just no overdoing it today.
This weekend we're going down to see the air & water show. We've been hearing the jets fly in since yesterday morning. There will also be more cooking! I've got a 1/2 assembled curried quorn salad in the fridge & we're going out in a few minutes to get cream for creme brulee and potatoes for ensalada rusa. This is shaping up to be the best vacation ever.
